Coaching for advanced English speakers who already have the language skills they need but want to feel more like themselves when communicating in English.
Sometimes the challenge is not your English itself.
Many advanced English speakers already communicate successfully at work and in everyday life, yet still find themselves overthinking, hesitating, holding back or feeling less like themselves when they speak.
You may have an excellent command of the language but still feel less spontaneous, less confident or less authentic than you do in your first language.
Part of the coaching involves exploring how your experiences, habits and environment may be shaping the way you communicate today, and how you would like to develop going forward.
Rather than teaching you more English, the aim is to help you use the English you already have with greater ease, self-trust and clarity, so that communicating feels more natural and true to who you are.
Traditional conversation classes focus on practising English.
Communication Coaching uses English as the language of genuine coaching conversations.
Together, we explore the topics that already matter in your life: your career, confidence, leadership, decision-making, relationships, motivation or future direction.
Rather than practising English through artificial conversations, you will use it to think, reflect, solve problems, make decisions and explore the questions that genuinely matter to you.
As you gain greater clarity and self-awareness, you may also notice that your communication becomes more natural—not because you are studying the language, but because you are using it in real and personally relevant conversations.
The goal is not to sound like a native speaker. It is to sound like yourself.
My approach draws on more than 15 years' experience as a professional translator, accredited coach training, NeuroLanguage Coaching®, counsellor training and ongoing university studies in Psychology. Together, these have shaped a coaching style that is reflective, person-centred and grounded in communication.
Communication Coaching is designed for people who already have a solid working level of English—typically B2 to C2—and want to move beyond traditional language learning.
It is particularly suited to professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, academics, expats and people living and working across languages and cultures.
It may be a good fit if you:
Format
Online one-to-one coaching tailored to your goals, communication style and professional or personal context.
Available as individual sessions or ongoing coaching programmes.
Coaching is a collaborative conversation that helps you think more clearly, explore challenges from new perspectives and move towards meaningful goals.
Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, I use thoughtful questions, reflection and active listening to help you develop your own insights and way forward.
Throughout the process, English becomes the language through which you think, reflect and express yourself more naturally.
Every session begins with whatever is most relevant to you.
You might bring an upcoming presentation, a difficult conversation at work, a career decision, a confidence issue or simply something that has been on your mind.
Together, we explore what is happening, what may be getting in the way and how you would like to move forward.
There is no fixed syllabus. Every session is shaped around your goals and the conversations that matter most to you.
The aim is simple:
To help you feel more like yourself when communicating in English.
